Barely a year after their first project together, 2022 finds the wunderkind duo of KWAMZAY reuniting for their newest sophmore mixtape: “Mountain”. A 5 project-EP that ranges from the earnest and soulful to efervescent dream-like textures. Back again are Kwame Adu's loose flowing stream-of-consciousness rhymes and the ever developing sonic pallette of ZAYALLCAPS, following hot off the trail of the promising chemistry of 2021's motherland! EP. With the team pushing their sound further into the zeitgeist, even displaying the occasional rave-style flourishes, it's clear that KWAMZAY are preparing to only further their potential.

KWAMZAY

KWAMZAY is a hip-hop music duo, made up of rapper-producers Kwame Adu and ZAYALLCAPS. Working out of both the East and West Coast of the United States, KWAMZAY has shown what they can do on their debut collaborative project, Motherland!, consisting of high energy, thought-provoking raps by Kwame with soulful yet hard hitting sample-flipped beats.
 Kwame Adu is a New Jersey-born MC who’s spent time in Central Pennsylvania as well as Los Angeles. Drawing inspiration from poetic rap artists like Kanye West and Earl Sweatshirt, with heavy presenting anime and video game influence, Kwame’s managed to drop several self-released projects over the past year. ZAYALLCAPS is an LA-based producer by way of Sacramento. Equipped with a copy of FL Studio and the Koala Sampler app, his influences include Madlib, J Dilla, Pierre Bourne, and Mexikodro, ZAYALLCAPS provides a wide range of sound with more to come.
