Aaron Moxness

Aaron Moxness is a recording and mix engineer from Thousand Oaks, California. Cutting his teeth in commercial pop and hip-hop studios such as Conway and Windmark in Los Angeles, he now works with independent bands and artists at Balboa Recording Studio helping them take their tracks to the next level.

Aaron started his musical career as a live sound engineer and guitarist but soon found his calling on the other side of the glass. Spending time learning from industry titans in big studios, working with artists such as Pharrell, Lana del Rey, and Travis Scott, Aaron has since turned his attention to the scenes he has always loved most. He now works out of his personal studio and Balboa, taking small, independent bands and artists and helping them create the songs they have always been striving for. A devoted disciple of the the music venue Low-End Theory, and Slyvia Massy's "adventure recording" approach, Aaron is always drawn to projects that push sonic boundaries and change the way we look at artists and the genres they represent.
